I've recently started doing hip hop dance classes every Friday for the summer, and now for the Fall. I've been doing great and really soaking the choreography in, but dancing, I feel, forces me to tone my body, which I'm happy about, but also gives me an ounce of confidence knowing I can bust a move whenever. (:
Short blog for the day, I just got home from dance and I am super tired. Till next time! <3

Daily Blog #2.
I've been having alot of these lazy days during the summer. I'm not saying they happen to be bad, but I wish there was more to do that would make me less lazy and tired. A schedule for such the majority of my lazy days would be:
sleep at 4:30 AM
wake up at 3:15 PM
lunch at 5:15 PM
dinner at 7:00 PM
And the cycle would start over and over. If i happen to have an event happening, not necessarily important,I would wake up at 10. This may be SO late to people, but my sleeping pattern is way off, and its gotten to normal for me. The point of this blog, if it has one, is to show you the boring and lazy way to spend some of your summer. I happen to be going on a vacation, so I'm just a little less miserable. And not to mention hanging with friends every week. But tomorrow I hope to do something, maybe go to the gym or something. Hope every summer day for you is greater than mine! (:

Daily Post Number 1.
Parents can be a hard thing to get past. The longer you study and observe their every move and take on things, the more you can manipulate them for your personal needs. I'm not saying that becoming some manipulative brat is good for you, but to get what you need, or want in some cases, means you have to do something for yourself, in their benefit too.
In my case, I know that in all cases, asking to go out with friends on the day of the event will 9/10 times work. This way my mom will think my friends already think I am going, and my mother isn't one to "disappoint" people. By asking days or even the day before the event, my mom will know I have time to say I will not attend, which is NOT what I want.
For their benefit, my short proposition to my mom was that, I wanted to go to the mall with some friends because
- Its summer
- Haven't hung out at the mall with them for 2 weeks, almost
- (and this is their benefit) I'll clean my closet before I leave.
The finished project of my closet is the best I can do, and you'll see that the best I can do isn't much. Here's a snapshot.

In any case, all you need to do is find a softspot for your mom, dad, parent, guardian. And a little work for them too, and things can work out a little better than anything in a different scenario. :)

Long Time, No See!
Haven't been on my blog for the longest time, no joke. I think my last post was way back in the SPRING! I haven't revisited ANY of my blogs in a while, since August in fact. This blog has missed my birthday and everything in between, until now! So, I intend to update it a lot more. I regret not having the chance to update during the summer days where I was so bored. But now that I've rediscovered it, I might plan to have daily blogs UNTIl school starts. Just for the record, I did say PLAN, and how many plans of yours turn true. Just a warning! :)
Now that I have my re-entry blog typed up, I'm infatuated with the idea about teenage life. Just recently I've found what it is like to be a real live teen that you see in movies and tv shows. Not the teen beings that are bratty and get in to deep trouble some times, but the teenage girl that can actually be busy with extra curricular, balancing dances, and friends, and not to mention family and family time. It's weird since you'd think that I'd feel this before, but the experience is only recent.
Well, wait around for those daily blogs! Thanks so much, non existent followers (for now). :)
So, that's my hello blog. :)

Apple Lovers Unite!
The iPad is the tablet everyone has been raving about. I believe it's so complex. Those Star Trek episodes have now been taken to another level. This may be just an iTouch blown up, but it proves that we are taking a step into the future. We may not feel it, but if we were in the 50's or whenever, this would make us look like aliens.
The iPad, some hate, some love, take us a step further for the US. And as for Microsoft , HAHA. Apple has beat you on a whole new level. Of course, my dad being the Apple fanatic he is, bought one. And I received the gift of experiencing the opening of it. Though we didn't get the satisfaction of seeing it turn on immediately, we had to sync it first, it was still pretty cool.
I saw a pattern with the iPad and iPhone. The backs of the iPad is a matte finish, silver, material. The exact same material the first generation iPhone was.

V.S.

And Also, the plug in chargers are the exact same. I'm pretty sure Apple recycled the iPhone first generation picture as well as design.

(charger same for the iPad and 1st Gen. Iphone.)
Notice the pattern? I have some "feeling" a new iPad(s) will emerge over the years. The weight may improve, I'm sure it will with a new black or white shiny design, just a guess. The price of the iPad ranges from $499 up to $829 for 3G and WiFi plus woppin' 64 gigs!
No, I'm not trying to 'predict' the future, but yes, I have made an educated guess on what will erupt from Apple years from now. A new iPad, I'm sure. Just follow the pattern of the iphones. Who knows, maybe a new camera will appear on the back of the iPads? You can be the judge, but...

SCHOOL ISSUES.
I feel really sad for the school systems.
First, I have to say that I am a student. And...
As much as we all say we hate school, we, kids, would actually hate it to go.
I have Spring Break coming up and let's face that we all needed the break. But four more furlough days of no working, no education? Really? I understand the budget is "in a pickle" (read introduction blog for inside joke) but what are children going to reason to in the US if every year there is more and more furlough days? The days where we learn nothing, do nothing, and can't do anything about it are the ones that will harm us the most.
My school, has been starting this new thing where for every after school detention you receive, you have the pleasure of walking around the whole school and pick up trash. Is this a coincidence that the week before this my mom had forwarded me an email from my unified school district saying to save money, the District won't clean the campuses everyday, music and arts are taken 'hostage' and for all that we know, they will take more and more subjects away. As much as my superintendent "hates" to say it, the school district is coming to a fail as the fun and exciting subject in school come to a close, and furlough days are taking over the school year. As a student I have the right to say that I'm scared for the school and not to be selfish, but for me. What will happen when I get to college? By that year will my knowledge be so poor from the budget cuts and "vacation days" that I won't succeed? We might not care right now, but all my dreams ever were to be successful and not to be a hobo for all that it matters. Is my education at stake or did I just happen to be the unlucky generation. Well there's no solve to this, yet.

March Addictions.
NEWS FLASH.
Quick note on my BLOGS!
Every month, towards the end of it, I will have a Monthly Addiction. I will post any subject of addiction on both my blogs. This blog and my 'thestyleportion' blog, whether or not it has anything to do with fashion or anything. But, since it's the 30th, out of the 31 days of March, it's time for the first monthly Blog Addiction!
This being my third post on my personals and style blog, I have obviously been addicted to posting. There has been so much on my mind and what other way to share it by blogging now with the new technology out there. Wow, I sound like an Ancient Square Grandma saying 'new technology.' But there it is. Without time to chill out during the month, I think blogging has been my last resort, and I will enjoy continuing to do it!

Music and Theatre Create?
A New Hobby!
Oliver Twist The Musical

(Displays Fagin's Thieves singing, I'd Do Anything featuring Nancy in the musical OLIVER)
Recently I have auditioned for an extra in the play Oliver, Oliver Twist, in my hometown highschool musical. The three parts that I casted for were those of children's crew because of my size, obviously.. I am pretty short, well depends on what you would call short. 5'2 and 1/2 is my height exactly. The parts that I cast were Fagin's thieves, an orphan theif who picks people's pockets and and gives the riches to Fagin, a man who exchanges the dowry for an orphan's place to stay, with the numbers "Pick a Pocket or Two," "It's a Fine Life," "Be Back Soon," and some others which I am probably blanking on at this moment. Workhouse, also with orphan that forces the children to work which features a number called "Food Glorious Food" a glorious song on the imaginitave joys of food while starving orphan's only eat gruel: and oatmeal style substance. And also, I caught a part in a bridge scene as a daughter, "GIRL #1". How glamorous, yes? Though, I am pretty satisfied with my casted glories.
For my nerve racking auditioned I must confess I was intimidated by the beautiful girls who sing such intense songs like "Popular" from Wicked which is way too Soprano, high pitched for the none vocalists, and fast for my toungue. I chose one decent song, maybe unknown, called "Put on your Sunday Clothes" from the musical Hello Dolly which I saw in a children-teen version of in the local Performing Arts Center. But the song was also featured in Wall-E. How childish am I, to even know that? Ha, well that was it. But I managed to fail my dance audition, while my face was encroached with fear mixed with forced laughter in order to buy my way in with my additude.
We still have got more practices to continue. Rehearsal after rehearsal. But, aside fashion there's also a passion for acting, or maybe it's just public speaking in plays, musicals, and shows of some sort. Is this passion for acting, or public speaking just the teen dreams I have in me from watcing all the teen stars on Disney Channel speak boldly as their managers hoax them into doing recycle commercials, or just my teen angst, or whatever you call it? Whatever it is, Oliver has been fun for what I have been doing so far. The musical theatre portion of it has become one of my hobbies at the moment for many friends have been made, not to mention the tired accomplished feeling after every rehearsal. And with that note, a short blog on my new hobby, musical theatre, I bid you goodnight.

First Impressions.
First impressions are the worst for me. And for that, I'm sorry.
Name: Anjani
Sex: Female
Age: Typical Teen.
Quote: "I'm in a pickle."
Occupation: None.
Ethnicity: Indonesian
Blogs, whether no one reads it, it could probably do me good one way or another. Not so sure what I would like to be as an adult, but ever since "The Devil Wears Prada," a movie which is difficult to comprehend according to my Dad, my destiny as a fashion editor or designer or whoever Meryl Streep was in that movie must be pursued. Interested in musicals, and acting, also. But I merely wish I was as good as a singer as most out there. I get a kick out of speaking in public, but I was never good at writing anything other than poems. Maybe poetry is my calling?
But, enough about my destiny. I don't know how in the world that subject got there. Multiple subjects I think might be composed for my blog. Fashion for one, but also daily word, and maybe gossip and stupid trends adults criticise with "back in my day..." Introductions were never good for me, along with writing essays on history, as my social science teacher writes messily on my papers. I hope that this blog would be not as harsh and boring as those of any others, for I hope to add personal life that interacts with many in my blog.
My name is Anjani, by the way, as I said, intros aren't my thing. I'm not an in depth person--but I do tend to dwell on certain things, like if I ramble on about my everyday spasms. But those who do know me in real life know that I am clumsy, I am a spazz, and I might not do everything right. I do tend to find myself in unlucky situations, ones saved for another blog, but for now, my invisible, probably never to read this blog written in 12.8 minutes, audience, I hope you give this lame blog a second chance once you read my future ones. Thank you!
